Gemmer Group Home’s mission is to bridge the gap between Individuals, Families and those who are providing the care. Our group of trained and qualified staff will collaborate to ensure your loved one receives excellence in care. Our continued pursuit is to have trained staff that can help facilitate and manage care for individuals, that will allow them to live as independently in a group home setting. Our Group Home concept provides quality care that meets the specialized needs of individuals with Autism Spectrum and other Emotional, Intellectual and Developmental Disabilities.
Gemmer Group Home recognizes that with a team of trained staff we can achieve the highest level of proper support for the Individuals in our care. Families can be sure that their loved ones can maintain an active and meaningful life if given the proper environment and proper methodological approach to care.
Gemmer Group Home is committed to providing opportunities that will enable individuals to remain active in their communities by focusing on ways in which we can integrate them and their treatment to live freely and learn with the least restrictions as possible. We place emphasis on the retention of meaningful relationships, abilities to perform activities of supportive living and basic living skills, while maintaining involvement in social interaction and ongoing leisure activities.
Our trained, qualified, and experienced staff ensures that appropriate care and services are implemented to promote dignity of our individuals as well as the increased independence for those in our care. We work with families and bridge the gap so that services are directed toward providing family members with ongoing instruction and support while their loved one are safe and secure in a place, they can call home.
